About Gene Boyle
Sequentis Consulting was founded by Eugene (Gene) Boyle, PE, LEED AP out of his passion for making buildings work better and to fully leverage his deep technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills to benefit stakeholders in the built environment. Gene brings over 35 years of hands-on experience in building automation, commissioning, construction, energy engineering, and complex building systems to the table.
Gene has led commissioning building automation, and energy engineering efforts for numerous complex and high-performance buildings in the largest markets in the U.S., working with top-tier clients across commercial, healthcare, tech, and institutional sectors. Gene has worked in various roles including building engineer, owner’s rep/construction manager, controls contractor, energy engineer, commissioning consultant, smart building consultant, and engineering director.
Gene has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
Gene’s goal is to partner with clients to deliver solutions that are both strategic and innovative but grounded in the realities of building design and construction.
